Q.How painful is rhinoplasty surgery? +
Because the procedure is performed under sedation anesthesia, you will feel almost no pain during surgery. There may be slight heaviness for 1 to 2 days after surgery, which can be sufficiently managed with the prescribed painkillers.
Q.Do silicone implants show or deform? +
VVLY precisely analyzes the patient's skin thickness and then selects an implant suited to it. In addition, autologous cartilage is used together to create a protective barrier so that the implant does not directly contact the skin, minimizing show-through and deformation.
Q.How long is the recovery period? +
Splint is removed after 5-7 days; daily life is possible thereafter. 80% of swelling subsides in 2-3 weeks; a natural appearance stabilizes over 3-6 months.
Q.Will it leave a scar? +
You may choose either the closed method, which makes an incision inside the nose, or the open method, which makes a small incision on the columella. Even with the open method, the scar heals over time to the point of being almost invisible.
Q.When can I exercise after surgery? +
Light walks from 1 day after, general exercise from 4 weeks. Intense exercise (swimming, gym) is recommended after 6-8 weeks.

This method dices your own rib cartilage into fine particles before grafting. Because it uses your own tissue, the risk of rejection is low. It is especially suited to those concerned about implant-related side effects or contracture, those needing revision surgery, and those who want the most natural texture — and a single rib harvest can provide a stable, long-lasting result.
